The NineteenthAnnual Arthritis Charity Spring Ball.
Sponsored by the Grand Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and The Rebekah Assembly of Massachusetts which was held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Manor Restaurant, raised over $42,000.00.
Immediately after dinner all proceeds from this major fund-raiser was presented to Mr Donald Barr, President of the Massachusetts Arthritis Council.
Our guest speaker for this evening was Ms. Victoria Gall, P.T., M. Ed., New England Baptist Hospital, Physical Therapist in Acute Care Orthopedic/Joint Arthroplasty.
Mayor Joseph Petty received the Community Leadership Award.
Ms. Jill C. Dagilis, Executive Director of the Worcester Community Action Council, Inc. recieved the Community Service Award.
The Odd Fellowship Award was presented to the Odd Fellows Franklin Lodge No. 23 from Taunton, MA.
Mayor Petty presented Keys to the City to the award recipients.
State Representative James O'Day presented Citations to the award recipients.
